Risk Management Experts Forum Holds Its Ordinary General Assembly Meeting
The Risk Management Experts Forum held its ordinary general assembly meeting chaired by Dr. Marwan Awad, Chairman of the Forum.
Dr. Awad stated that the Forum’s mission is to raise awareness among institutions and economic actors about risk management and sound governance frameworks in line with international best practices, helping them achieve their objectives effectively.
He also thanked the Forum’s executive management for its efforts in advancing the Forum’s mission and objectives.
Meeting Highlights
- 1Executive Director Shaher Suleiman reviewed the Forum’s achievements during the previous period, including amendments to the bylaws to better support the Forum’s objectives.
- 2The Forum reviewed seminars held across fields relevant to economic sectors, particularly the financial sector.
- 3The 2024 plan was presented as an ambitious plan to achieve the Forum’s goals efficiently and effectively through cooperation with economic actors, regulators, forums, and international entities.
- 4The ordinary general assembly approved the 2022 financial statements, re-elected Arab Professional Group RSM to audit the 2023 financial statements, and approved the Forum’s 2024 plan.
Suleiman also noted that risk management should be applied in the public sector as it is applied in the private sector.
